I'm back with a small blog post for you. ;)
I didn't had any internet for the last 11 days and wasn't able to use Instagram because I didn't had any Data Volume left on my Smartphone. But since yesterday I finally and luckily have internet again.
So today I would like to tell you about my experiences with the Skin Foundation Stick by Bobbi Brown, which I own for about two months now.
I always owned liquid foundations before, but never was satisfied with them, because they were always kinda too dark for my pale skin, even if I choosed the lightest tones. I also made the experiences, that it felt very heavy... like my skin wasn't able to breathe.
I know there are people outside, who wear foundation every day, but I don't like this feeling on my face, for me, a good face cream and powder is all I need.
But we all know those days, when you're fighting with your skin. Redness, pimples... you know what I'm talking about. And for those days I like to take on some foundation and that's why I was searching for the perfect one for me.
I know Bobbi Brown for a long time, but it somehow never really got me, until a coworker told me about, how happy she is with her products from this brand. So it came that I searched for foundations on their website and when I saw the Skin Foundation Stick I was immediately interested in it! I had a look at their shades and saw, that they also have it in the shade 'Porcelain' - and it looked like it would fit my skin tone! I said to myself: "give it a try!" And bought it.
When it arrived I was super excited, the packaging is beautiful, discreet but elegant at the same time. I opened it and had a look at the shade and finally... this really looked like my skin tone!
I couldn't wait and so I tried the stick, I left some stripes with it all over my face and blended it with a damp makeup sponge. I was obsessed with the result, even though I didn't took much of it, I got a nice coverage and it didn't felt heavy at all.
My skin is so fair, that you can even see my veins, but it all was covered nicely and matched my skin tone perfectly. It didn't looked cakey or fake, or something like that - it was a natural finish.
The best on this foundation is, that it's perfect for dry skin like mine, it's also buildable - but I never build it up because for me one layer is enough. It's also very longlasting, especially if you put a little bit of powder on top to fix it.
The only disadvantage is the price, I paid 46 € for 9 g, that's pricey. But since I know that I finally found the perfect shade for my fair skin, I'm happy that I paid the price for it. And since it's a stick you don't need much of the product, so you will have it for a long time.
Do you own any Bobbi Brown products? Were you struggling with foundations too? Tell me in the comments below and see you next time! :)
